I had a similar thing; at the beginning of the panini, our Gym did Zoom classes, and I was enjoying them. Then they moved the classes an hour later, and I couldn’t attend live anymore. I tried to do the recorded sessions a couple times, but I have a real hard time getting into a workout when I’m by myself. Way too easy to get distracted by Slack, see things around the house that need doing, etc.

The “body doubling” aspect of a class where everyone is doing it so i’m going to do it, in addition to the social connection of doing this thing together, is a big big part of what I get out of Xfit. I can do all the movements at home sure, but will I? and will I work as hard? evidence says no.

I 100% will not work as hard, not even close, when I'm working out at home. Maybe for some kinds of endurance training, but not usually for metabolic conditioning that has more than 1 movement.
